A artist who has painted in silence for decades, whose never exhibited her intense artistic activity in public until she felt the compelling need to involve others in her richly emotional world.
The pleasure of reformulating, of internal volcanic creation (harmonised with the power of the materials, colours, the tremors of the spirit) release the electric charge which makes Elisabetta Fontana's work special.
Her artistic soul, particularly careful and sensitive in penetrating the deep reality of things, is evoked also in the titles, turning the febrile anxiety of her paintings into poetry.
In this way, the works display the externalisation of strong sentiments, a magic balance between instinct and reason.
